Wendy Rimel is a Colorado native who resides in the Vail Valley. She earned her degree from the University of Colorado Boulder and built a successful early career in sales and marketing in Seattle and Southern California. Wendy spent thirteen years in the paper and recycling industries with Georgia-Pacific Corporation, where she became the first female Sales Representative for Georgia-Pacific Harmon Recycling. Her role included extensive international travel in Asia, often surprising clients who expected “Mr.” Wendy.
Over the past decade, Wendy’s work has expanded into high-trust executive and operational support roles, including family office administration and support for ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families. She is known for discretion, sound judgment, and the ability to manage complex professional and personal operations seamlessly.
Since 2020, Wendy has served full-time with the Education Foundation of Eagle County, where she led significant organizational growth, including doubling the budget within two years and strengthening the Foundation’s impact across the community. She currently serves on the boards of Great Education Colorado and Eagle County Gives and has long been committed to education-focused service and leadership.
Outside of work, Wendy enjoys skiing, biking, and spending time outdoors in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. She also cherishes time at her family’s cabins on Tennessee Pass.
